AXA, the Official Sponsor of Bangkok’s 25th International Festival of Dance and Music for Second Consecutive Year, Continuing the Scheme to Promote “Culture of Quality”
AXA Thailand General Insurance is delighted to announce its continued support as the official insurance sponsor for the Bangkok’s 25th International Festival of Dance and Music, marking the second consecutive year of sponsorship. This collaboration reflects AXA’s commitment to promoting a “Culture of Quality” by bringing world-class performances to a wider audience in Thailand.
The Festival serves as an exceptional platform for the Thai community to immerse themselves in the realm of aesthetics. With the participation of over 900 extraordinary artists from around the world, the event promises to ignite inspiration and deliver awe-inspiring performances. The lineup features 11 captivating shows, including renowned European orchestras, legendary conductors, and world-class ballet companies presenting mesmerizing ballets.
The Festival kicked off on June 24, 2023, with a pre-opening performance that sets the stage for an extraordinary experience. The second phase of the event will then unfold over 8 weeks, from September 2 to October 22, 2023, at the Thailand Cultural Centre.
As the Bangkok’s 25th International Festival of Dance and Music celebrates its momentous anniversary, it showcases a curated selection of performances that have inspired the Thai community throughout its 25-year history. The festivities commenced with the eagerly awaited pre-opening performance featuring the oldest orchestra of Switzerland “Lucerne Symphony Orchestra” accompanied by the enchanting melodies of Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich. This remarkable combination has offered a heavenly musical experience that mesmerized the whole audience.
Notable highlights of the Festival includes a magnificent orchestral concert by the internationally acclaimed Symphony Orchestra of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino from Italy, under the masterful baton of legendary conductor Zubin Mehta. Furthermore, the line-up features three captivating styles of ballet performances, including beloved classics like “Swan Lake” performed by the esteemed “Les Ballets de Monte Carlo” and more.
